Chris Madine 2010 John Higgs Award The Sir John Higgs Fund continued to support the Chuckchi / Barefoot College project. Chris Madine travelled to Siberia to visit the Chuckchi to get greater understanding of how their communities operate and an agreement for a pilot project was developed to install solar lights for one brigade of reindeer herders.
