Rural Youth in Europe: A Voice for the Future of Agriculture

MIJARC Europe Seminar

“Eating, Producing and Deciding: our choice and our voice for the future agriculture in Europe”

Report written by the participants

28th July – 1st August 2014

 Marconne, France

This report was written by the participants of the MIJARC Europe seminar “Eating, Producing and Deciding: our choice and our voice for the future agriculture in Europe” and it represents their opinions.

The report is divided in two parts:

AHA-moment of the day!

The descriptive part of the report. The participants were asked to answer specific questions. They had the possibility to describe the day, the moment they enjoyed the most, what did they learn during the day, what kind of skills or knowledge they gained and what will they bring home. They had a chance to define if the activities met their expectation.

Travelling diary

Each day the participants were describing their feelings about the activities. The diary was travelling from one person to another. By asking the participants to describe a day with no detailed instructions we wanted to gain information about how they feel in a group, what are their feelings about the activities, what they like the most and what they consider most important.

Additionally one of the participants created a comic diary, which is also presented in the second part of this report.
